长期从事车辆动力学与控制，车辆传动理论与技术等方向的教学、科研工作。是“车辆传动国家级重点实验室”研究方向带头人，现任国家新型6×6轮式装甲XXX车副总师，作为负责人主持项目包括国防973课题项目、国家自然科学基金项目、博士点基金项目、国防基础研究项目等。
       主要开展：无人车辆动力学与总体设计、机电复合传动理论与技术、传动系统方案设计与拓扑综合、传动系统摩擦磨损与润滑等方面的研究。
