刘敏，女，电气与电子工程学院，副教授，博士，主要从事智能视频分析算法及其在嵌入式系统上的应用等研究, 2017年至2018年期间，作为访问学者曾在美国罗文大学访学10个月。近年来，作为主要科研成员，参与了国家自然科学基金面上项目“无线多媒体传感器网络低复杂度视频编码及高容错传输技术研究”（项目编号：61471162）、湖北省科技支撑计划（研发类）项目“基于RBD算法的高清视频绿色传输和存储方法研究及应用”（项目编号：2015BAA115）等科研项目。目前已在国内外杂志和会议上发表学术论文七篇，其中SCI检索1篇，EI检索3篇，中文核心期刊3篇，受理发明专利三项。
