巩婷，女，1983年出生， 中国医学科学院药物研究所生物合成室，副研究员，硕士生导师。研究方向为微生物活性天然产物的发现，天然药物的生物合成及生物催化。目前共发表文章40余篇，其中SCI论文21篇，第一作者14篇，参与编写专著2部。作为负责人完成了国家自然科学基金青年基金1项、教育部新教师基金1项、北京协和医学院青年基金1项、中央级公益性科研院所基本科研业务费1项，在研中国医学科学院协同创新工程协同创新团队项目1项，同时参与了“十二五”、“十三五”国家科技重大专项、国家自然科学基金、北京协和医学院协和青年基金等多项基金的研究工作。

专业研究领域

1.       微生物活性天然产物的发现：从特殊生境微生物、食药用真菌等中发现新颖结构活性天然产物，为新药研制提供先导化合物。

2.       活性天然产物的生物合成和生物催化： 解析结构独特的活性天然产物的生物合成途径，从中发现关键酶，通过异源表达对天然/非天然底物进行生物催化，且通过合成生物学技术提高活性化合物的产量。
