杨燕初，男，研究员。2004年在北京航空航天大学飞行器设计与应用力学系获学士学位，2007年在中国科学院空间科学与应用研究中心获硕士学位，2012年在中国科学院光电研究院获博士学位。现任中国科学院光电研究院气球飞行器研究中心副主任，中国科学院浮空器系统研究发展中心副总工程师，中国科学院大学岗位教师。

主要研究方向为飞行器设计，工程力学，多学科优化设计，结构设计CAD/CAE。先后负责设计并研制了多型飞行器及浮空器。先后承担了国家高分辨率对地观测专项、中科院先导专项、装备预研联合基金、国防科技创新重点部署项目、国防创新基金以及国军标制修订等项目，发表论文40余篇，申请专利10余项，编制国军标及专项标准2项。
